Not a fan of the colour, even if four M1s were painted that way for “the BMW board and family”, according to Top Gear.
Maybe BMW is now officially recognised as a surname in Germany, but I imagine they meant the Quandts (who, apart from being quite well off, happen to have an interesting family link with a certain Joseph G nobody really wants to talk too much about.)
Also... I understand the reasons why they did it, but those front wheels look absolutely out of proportion.
